FAQs
What is Rigger Level 1, and how does it differ from Level 2 and Level 3?+
Definitions vary by client scheme. Commonly Level 1 is the basic rigger or slinger, Level 2 is an advanced rigger who plans rigging and lifts, and Level 3 is a rigging or lifting supervisor. We align the course to the level your project specifies.
Will my client accept a Rigger Level 1 certificate in Saudi Arabia?+
Acceptance depends on the client and the project scheme, and some clients require training that meets TVTC or client-specific requirements. Send us the requirement and ask for the current approval status and reference of the course before you book.
Is this the same as a slinger signaller course?+
The core skills overlap, because slinging and signalling are the heart of Level 1. If your client names a separate slinger-signaller or banksman card, tell us and we will align the assessment to it where practical.
Is a practical test included?+
Yes. Candidates select slings and hardware, rig and sling real loads, give signals and inspect gear in front of the assessor, in addition to a written test.
