Backhoe Loader Inspection & Certification in NEOM
The backhoe loader combines a front loader bucket with a rear hoe on one chassis and is the everyday machine for municipal, utility and small contractor work across the Kingdom, from trenching to camp maintenance. It is often rented and worked hard on public roads and rough ground, so stabiliser leakage, swing frame wear and brake condition are common problem areas. Inspection before mobilisation helps owners and clients confirm the machine can dig, load and travel safely. The giga-project in north-west Saudi Arabia, mobilising vast fleets of heavy equipment and workers.
Backhoe Loader inspection in NEOM: local context
Site preparation across NEOM's undeveloped terrain means extensive excavation, levelling, trenching and long haul runs, keeping excavators, dozers, loaders, graders and dump trucks in heavy use. Abrasive sand, rock and heat wear undercarriages, hydraulic hoses and brakes, so EES inspects fleets on site before mobilisation and periodically, checking ROPS, braking and hydraulics.
